The Adventist Faculty of Theology offers you to follow a new Mooc! After the Moocs (still available) on the theme of the Sabbath treated in an interdisciplinary way and animated by all the professors of the AFT; and the Mooc on the Apocalypse presented by Richard Lehmann; this new free online course is entitled "Evangelizing. From Word to Deed". It touches on the vocation of outreach of every believer and of the Church. This AFL Mooc, conceived and realized in collaboration with the Franco-Belgian Union of Adventist Churches, is presented by Gabriel Monet, professor of practical theology, with the collaboration of the persons in charge of the evangelization departments of France and Belgium! We wish you a lot of pleasure to follow these courses...
Presentation
A Mooc is a course open to all, free and open to the public. It is our pleasure to give as many people as possible a taste of what can be experienced, reflected upon and shared in a Faculty of Theology. Of course, a Mooc does not have the same objectives and the same modalities as a normal course, but it is an opportunity to approach a subject at the service of all. Like all Mooc, the teaching is done through a number of videos that you can watch. Small questionnaires will be there to help you check the attention you have paid and the understanding you have had of the teachings.
In order for you to be able to follow these Moocs in the best conditions, we use the same platform that we use for our distance learning courses. Click on the various links below and you will be taken to the page dedicated to AFL's Moocs.
If you have a question, a problem, or if you want to react, please write to us at mooc@campusadventiste.edu

Evangelizing. From Word to deed
To evangelize is the mission left by Jesus to all his disciples, yesterday and today. Evangelizing is one of the vocations of the Church. Evangelizing is the challenge of each believer to radiate, to share his faith, to contribute to the values of the Gospel being lived and accepted as widely as possible. But evangelizing is not self-evident. After 2000 years of Christianity and in a context where religion is often confined to the private sphere, it is not useless to revisit what the Bible says about evangelization and mission, but also to consider concrete paths linked to a conception of evangelization as natural and radiant as possible.
This Mooc, entitled "Evangelizing. From Word to deed" is not only a teaching, but also an exhortation to put into practice the biblical foundations through means in phase with the current context.

This book of Revelation becomes understandable to all, is made interesting, and above all, invites confidence for the future.

The Sabbath
The Adventist Faculty of Theology proposes a Mooc on the Sabbath for three main reasons. First, because we are convinced that God's gift of the Sabbath is more relevant than ever in our society, which is lacking in reference points, where everyone is often overwhelmed by the lack of time and which we fill with a thousand things without necessarily taking the trouble to establish priorities. Moreover, the Sabbath is a key marker of Adventist thought and it seems important to anchor our convictions on a sure and solid foundation and to envisage the living of the Sabbath in as coherent a manner as possible. Finally, the Sabbath is at the crossroads of many theological themes and topics: the Sabbath tells us a great deal about creation, about God's identity and vision, about God's plan for human beings, about God's relationship with his creatures... In a sense, the whole plan of salvation is contained in the Sabbath, including the Adventist hope for the return of Jesus.
